Join Gregory Harrington for an eclectic and intimate evening of his unique interpretations of great classics to modern greats. Joined by two highly-acclaimed cellists Eleanor Norton and Jay Tilton, the evening will journey from Bach to Dave Brubek, and incorporate songs and works by Johnny Cash, Glen Hansard, Philip Glass, Frank Sinatra, and many in between.
Greg Harrington is one of Ireland’s most recognized violinists. He has performed all over the world as soloist in some of the worlds greatest concert halls, including numerous solo performances in Carnegie Hall. He has toured extensively and played with many esteemed orchestras and conductors, for Presidents and Vice Presidents alike, celebrities, heads of state and on TV & Radio across four continents. His last album achieved great success in the Billboard Charts, and later this year he releases two albums of jazz standards and works for violin and orchestra by Philip Glass. Last November, had the honor of performing the National Anthem in Soldier Field for the Ireland vs All Blacks rugby game. He has opened the St. Patrick’s Day Parade live on NBC on 5th Avenue, and in December he performed the National Anthem in a capacity Lambeau Field for the Green Bay Packers.
