Does Irish Rep use volunteer ushers?
Yes. Volunteer ushers receive one (1) free ticket to the show. Acceptance is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is based on availability. To volunteer please email Ushers@IrishRep.org with 3 dates of availability during the run of the production. Irish Rep reserves the right to not use volunteers.
Do you rent your space?
We are currently producing in both of our theaters, so space is not available for outside rental until further notice.
Can I advertise in your program?
Yes. The Irish Rep has many opportunities to advertise with us. Half or full page program ads are available for individual shows or for a full year. You may also advertise on our tickets, ticket envelopes or in our annual benefit gala journal. Please contact Frances Howorth, Director of Marketing at Frances[at]IrishRep.org for prices, deadlines and specifications.
Do you accept script submissions?
Irish Repertory Theatre is unable to accept full unsolicited scripts for our Reading Series or Irish Rep’s regular production season unless it is an agent submission. For consideration, please submit, by regular mail only and in care of literary manager Kara Manning, a query letter, 20 page sample, synopsis, audio (if musical), brief biography and SASE if you’d like your material to be returned. No email submissions unless solicited as such.
For the Reading Series, material must be unpublished and not produced in the United States, although UK/Ireland productions are permissible. Playwrights are encouraged to read the Irish Rep’s mission statement for a better understanding of what we’re searching for in material.
Please note that we’re a very small staff and responses range from 3-6 mos (query) to one year (full script).
