Like theatres all over the country, we closed our doors in March in response to COVID-19. In May, we were proud to become the first Off-Broadway theatre to announce a full season of digital productions. Since then, we have released a new full-length production each month, all filmed during the COVID-19 shutdown and have been named “the leader in streaming theater productions” in Theatermania.
More programming will be announced soon, but for now, read more about our recent projects below!
Critical Response to our Digital Programming:
“Irish Rep is now way out in front of every other company in America when it comes to marrying technical innovation with artistic quality” – Terry Teachout, The Wall Street Journal
“No one produces Irish playwrights better than the Irish Repertory Theatre. And that has set them both up perfectly for the Zoom age…The result is as close to a theatrical experience as one can hope for these days.” -Joe Westerfield, Newsweek
